I feel I made a wise purchase
I’m a fan of my toys/gadgets/hacks and what have you, and I love getting a piece of hardware to do what it wasn’t meant to do, mod chips, hacked firmwares, etc etc but as I look at my shiney Jailbroken iPhone 3G I’ve decided something. I will not play Mario Brothers again.
Many moons ago in the days of windows 95 I installed a SNES emulator, and the first thing I played was Supermario brothers and I was impressed that I could play super mario brothers on my PC, mind you I was all of 11 back then so I was easily ammused.
Then later down the track I picked up an Xbox and gave it a good ole mod chip, loaded up some emulators and I played super mario brothers on my Xbox, totally awesome at the time.
Then I got myself a PSP, before the unit had arrived I’d already downloaded some ROM’s and emulators and then I got it, downgraded it, and ran a SNES emulator, playing super mario brothers.
After this I got caught up in the Wii Hype and brought one, and got it home, played some Wii tennis with the missus, then checked out the Wii store. OH Cool, the original Mario brothers, so I paid my $8 and downloaded it so I could play Mario Brothers on my brand new Wii hooked up to my 42″ bravia with my awesome sound system. I was ammused and pleased.
Now I look at the NES emulator for my iPhone and think “Oh cool, Mario Brothers” well you know what fuck no. I’m not the only person who does what I do, everyone seems to love getting mario brothers on new platforms. But seriously, how many times do you need to play Mario brothers, how much money have I spent on gadgets that still only play Mario?! You know what, I never got passed the 3rd level, I never owned a SNES, no no I was a sega fanboy. So Mario and all your multi hacked platform madness, I bid you aduer.
Finally added some basic information to the Pajero section. More to come in the following weeks.

Primarily the focus of this new blog will be a repository of my projects, both automotive and computer endevour’s. Possibly some wierd freakish combination of both will come along. Initial focus of this blog will be the repair/restoration of the Pajero (details to come) initially. Then will follow on to a few more projects as time goes on.
